Mental Health

DoorWays is a mental health and addictions walk-in service offered through Western Health. Counsellors offer single-session therapy services and same day appointments. Some examples of what could be discussed with a counsellor are: depression, anxiety, bullying, coping, grief/loss, addictions, relationship issues and/or stress.

If further counselling is required, staff will work with you to provide access to additional services and supports.

DoorWays is not an emergency service. Individuals experiencing a mental health emergency (ie. risk of immediate harm) should call 911 or the Mental Health Crisis Line at 1-888-737-4668, or proceed to the nearest emergency department.
