The forests, valleys, bog lands and mountain ridges abound with wildlife: moose, caribou, black bears, foxes, beaver, otter, mink, arctic hare and various bird species.

The Stephenville Theatre Festival established in 1979, operates under the guidance of a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors. The festival runs from June to August every summer. Guest are guaranteed a theatre experience that entertains, engages and enlightens!
